Manual of Life - Alternative Definitions

Tragic Irony
n., Knowing that you are the next (and last) Prophet/Saviour/Messiah, come to help rekindle the potential of humankind and usher in an age of peace and progress, by uniting all the peoples of the world through one unmistakeable and unambiguous message

....and not being able to remember what that message was.

LOL :) (what an inappropriate response to tragedy, no?)

Actually it doesn't make ze messiah any different from the rest of humanity... he/she would have to spend their life trying to re-figure/remember their life's purpose.

Then the world and life would be one giant puzzle of which we'd all be tiny pieces trying to fit together

really, really late to this party, but had to say this: tragic irony is simply not strong enough for this, no? i mean, this would be enough to send someone into unfathomable depths of despair -- leading to madness on a stupendous scale...

As long as you come to the party at all, it's ok.

But also, if you were divine etc, you would have superhuman patience and belief no?

ok, then the loss of memory would be the tragic flaw... and this would be an epic Aristotelian tragedy then. It won't be tragic irony unless everyone else knows that you are the next and last prophet etc, right? (sorry, sorry, i've just discovered this boring pedantic side of me that's demanding to come out!)
