I love this story! Just what did they think was going to happen when they called the number? And then they complained?!I'm split between whether it just highlights how intense SF&F fans can get, or just how deluded people can be. Or both.
Just so we are clear, we are talking about Dr. Who.
so....he's not really sci-fi? Or it's so good that fans will do anything?
Dude, Dr. Who is close to religion. (Douglas Adams wrote a couple of stories for them...)
I agree - but I wouldn't call a phone number from a fictitious serial and then complain about it being fake. Seriously. Also, so did Neil Gaiman.
LoL!How simply STUPID.But even then, I mean, you wouldn't want to MISS it!You know, the just-in-case argument.
religion, sci-fi, what's the difference?
religion, sci-fi, what's the difference?Sci-fi makes better costumes. Officer Uhura, anyone?
Espera:Aha...another fan, then?TR:What KM said.
No. Actually, I don't quite know who he is. Well, I've heard his name and all. But that's about it.Pretty ignorant, yes.=P
